WorkSafeBC Board coming to Northwest
The Board of Directors of WorkSafeBC will be hosting a reception on September 10th, 2013 in Terrace. The Board is visiting the northwest region to meet with local business and labour to discuss issues as they relate to WorkSafeBC.
The Board would like to meet with interested individuals on an informal basis to discuss any thoughts you may have to improve or enhance BC's workers' compensation system and protect the health and safety of workers. They believe candid discussions with stakeholders are essential in developing a more effective service delivery system. The President and CEO will be giving a brief status update on workers' compensation in British Columbia. the objective is to work with stakeholders to continue to reduce the injury rate and provide better service to the workers and employers of British Columbia.
