CityWest to enter Smithers market
Dear Smithers Businesses,
CityWest is happy to formally announce to the businesses community that we have decided to upgrade our network in Smithers, which will bring high speed Internet, phone and high definition TV.
This may not be news to you; we have stated since the beginning of this year that we had plans to upgrade our network. Over the last few months, we have made frequent visits to the community of Smithers, doing some preliminary work on our upgrades. Indeed, since May, we have invested a lot of time, energy and money to ensure these upgrades meet the highest possible standards.
As with all large scale endeavors, there are a number of variables that are not within our control. As such, we do not have a defined date at this time; however, once complete, we are confident that we will be able to provide you with a complete suite of communications services at lower prices than those of our competition. Furthermore, we plan to be an active member of your community, not only as a good corporate citizen, but also as a company that provides local employment with opportunities to grow.
Finally, we’d like to mention that we have received a very warm welcome by the community already, particularly at the Town of Smithers, the Smithers Chamber of Commerce, and the Bulkley Valley Economic Development Association. Truly, Smithers is a great place to do business; we are confident in the future of the community, and we hope to become a big part of making it a very bright future indeed.
